Liverpool want Premier League youngster to replace Lallana
Liverpool have reportedly earmarked Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell as a potential replacement for Adam Lallana at the end of the season.
Lallana's current deal with the Reds expires in June 2020 and the attacker appears certain to part ways with the club in the pursuit of regular first-team football elsewhere.
According to The Athletic, the Merseyside outfit are also planning to offload Xherdan Shaqiri, who has endured a disrupted season due to injuries and they may seek to replace the experienced duo.
The same outlet indicates that Cantwell is one of the top names on their wishlist for the summer but the Reds could face competition from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur for his services.
Cantwell has impressed in his debut top-flight season with the Canaries and he has contributed six goals and two assists from 28 appearances under Daniel Farke.
He has more than three years remaining on his current contract at Norwich and reports claim that the Canaries will demand around £30m to sanction his sale in the summer.
