Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation of Hansi Flick, who is currently the interim manager at Bayern Munich.

The German was handed the managerial role after Niko Kovac's sacking in November and he has since contributed to the club's upturn in form.

Under Flick, Bayern have remained unbeaten for 15 games on the bounce and they remain on course to win an eighth-straight Bundesliga title.

According to SportBild, United are monitoring the position of Flick, who has yet to receive a contract extension at Bayern beyond the summer.

United are currently on a 11-match unbeaten streak under the guidance of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but the Norwegian's future could come into question, suppose the club fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Mauricio Pochettino, formerly of Tottenham Hotspur, has also been linked with the Red Devils over the past few months after having opened the possibility of managing another elite Premier League side.
