Chelsea winger tipped to sign for Tottenham Hotspur
Former Premier League star Paul Robinson has fancied Willian to make the move to Tottenham Hotspur when his contract with Chelsea expires in the summer.
The Brazilian has less than four months remaining on his current contract with the Blues and an extension seems unlikely with the club reluctant to meet his demands for a three-year deal.
Speaking to Football Insider, Robinson believes Spurs make the move for the experienced winger, who has previously impressed under the guidance of Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.
"It would be a good signing. I think it is a player who Mourinho knows well. I would be surprised if Chelsea let him go because he is a top player," the ex-Spurs goalkeeper told.
Willian has recently stated that he would be prepared to extend his Blues contract by one month, should the Premier League season extend to July because of the delay due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Willian has bagged seven goals and six assists for Chelsea this term.
