Chelsea looking to agree deal for 21-year-old midfielder
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to make the move to sign midfielder Declan Rice from West Ham United when the transfer window reopens.
The 21-year-old was heavily linked with Manchester United last summer but he eventually stayed put with the Hammers after a deal failed to materialise.
According to Sky Sports News, the Blues are also said to hold an interest in the England international and they could make a formal approach at the end of the season.
The Hammers are currently reluctant to part ways with their midfielder but reports suggest that they will eventually sanction the player's sale at the right price.
Rice is valued in excess of £60m and their chances of signing him ahead of their rivals could be boosted by the presence of Mason Mount, who is a childhood friend of his.
Chelsea are currently loaded with options in the centre of the park but Jorginho has been linked with a possible departure to reunite with manager Maurizio Sarri at Juventus.
