Chelsea to miss out on Ben Chilwell?
Chelsea could reportedly look into alternative options to Ben Chilwell with Leicester City reluctant to lower their £80m asking price for the defender.
The England international has been regularly linked with the Blues in recent months with manager Frank Lampard wanting a quality left-back in the club's ranks next season.
The Blues are expected to sanction the sale of either Emerson or Marcos Alonso to add transfer funds for the summer but they are still reluctant to meet the Foxes' £80m price tag for Chilwell.
As such, they are likely to look at options elsewhere and Goal.com claims that Porto's Alex Telles is one of the players under consideration to strengthen the left-back department.
Unlike Chilwell, Telles will be available for a relatively cheaper price of around £37m, considering he would be entering the final year of his Porto contract at the end of June.
Telles, who has contributed eight goals and five assists for Porto this term, has recently declined a contract renewal with the club in order to pursue a bigger challenge elsewhere.
