Arsenal revive interest in French World Cup winner

Nabil Fekir news

Fekir to Arsenal?

Arsenal are understood to have revived their interest in signing Real Betis' Nabil Fekir ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Frenchman was linked with a possible move to the Gunners last summer but he eventually made the switch to Betis from Lyon.

Fekir has since been in good form for the Spanish outfit with seven goals and six assists from 22 league appearances and it appears that he could pursue a bigger challenge this summer.

According to The Star, the north London giants are considering a move for the former Lyon captain as they seek to rebuild their attack for the 2020/21 campaign and beyond.

Fekir, who is also on the radar of AC Milan, was previously on the cusp of signing for Liverpool before the 2018 World Cup but the deal fell through after concerns over his knee injury record.

Fekir is capable of playing in different positions in the midfield and attack but he has mostly featured from the number 10 role this term. He could emerge as a replacement for Mesut Ozil next season.
