Manchester United favourites to sign Jadon Sancho this summer

Manchester United are understood to be leading the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool in the race to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho has been a consistent performer for the Bundesliga outfit since his move away from Manchester City in 2017 and in the current campaign, he has bagged 17 goals and 19 assists in all competitions.

The trio of Chelsea, Liverpool and United have been regularly linked with the winger but according to The Mirror, the Red Devils hold the advantage as they are prepared to meet Dortmund's hefty price tag of £120m.

The same outlet claims that Sancho would prefer to join the young-looking squad at Old Trafford with the chance of cementing his place on the right side of the attack.

United are aiming to make at least three signings during the summer transfer window. Apart from a right winger, they are likely to pursue a new striker and a box-to-box midfielder.

Jack Grealish, James Maddison and Harry Kane are some of the high-profile players, who have been associated with a possible move to the Red Devils this summer.
