Liverpool quoted price to sign Ousmane Dembele

Barcelona have reportedly informed Liverpool that they would have to pay around £72m in order to land the services of Ousmane Dembele.

The Frenchman has been with the Blaugrana since the summer of 2017 but he has been restricted to just 74 appearances due to regular muscular concerns.

Dembele is currently sidelined with a long-term hamstring injury but he could be fit for the 2020/21 campaign, suppose the start date is pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Liverpool Echo, the Blaugrana could be prepared to part ways with the winger this summer, particularly with the interest from Liverpool and Arsenal.

It is added that Catalan giants are looking for a £72m fee for the attacker, who has registered 19 goals and 17 assists during his two-and-a-half years with the club.

Liverpool are expected to make a few marquee signings during the next transfer window and they are said to be eyeing a new centre-back, central midfielder and winger.
