Braithwaite set for EPL move?

West Ham United and Everton could reportedly compete for the services of Martin Braithwaite when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old made the switch to Barcelona from Leganes in February after the Catalan giants were allowed to make an emergency signing after the long-term injury for Ousmane Dembele.

Braithwaite has since impressed for the Blaugrana with a couple of assists in the Spanish La Liga but AS claims that they will sanction his departure at the end of the campaign.

The La Liga holders triggered a £16.1m buyout clause to sign him from Leganes last month and they are expected to demand a similar sum for his sale during the next transfer window.

Both Hammers and Toffees are weighing up possible bids for the marksman as they seek to add more competition for places in the centre-forward department ahead of next season.

Braithwaite is presently contracted to Quique Setien's side until June 2024.
