Arsenal enter the race to sign Real Madrid defender
Arsenal have reportedly joined the likes of Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund in the race to sign Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid during the summer.
The 21-year-old is currently in his second season on loan with Dortmund, where he has contributed 10 goals and 17 assists across all competitions.
He is due to return to the Bernabeu at the end of the season but it appears that he could thereafter be sold amid his reluctance to sign a new contract with Los Blancos.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Gunners have joined the hunt for the Morocco international, who is also on the radar of Chelsea, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
Dortmund are said to hold an interest in a permanent deal for Hakimi and their chances are dependent on whether they can compete and outbid their European rivals in the player's pursuit.
Arsenal are said to be mulling over a probable replacement for Hector Bellerin, whose performances have been hampered by a minor groin problem, which he has failed to overcome.
