Liverpool make transfer decision on Mario Gotze
Liverpool will reportedly snub the chance to sign Mario Gotze when his contract with Borussia Dortmund expires at the end of the season.
Gotze recently confirmed that he will end his association with Dortmund during the summer and he has since been linked with a number of clubs including the Reds.
Jurgen Klopp is said to have a close relationship with Gotze from their Dortmund days but The Mirror claims that he will pass on the opportunity to sign the attacker on a free transfer.
Gotze has struggled to command a regular spot in Lucien Favre's team this term but he has still managed 19 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals.
With Dortmund out of the race, the likes of AS Roma, Everton, West Ham United and AC Milan are reportedly among the candidates, who could land the Germany international ahead of next season.
Liverpool are planning to sign at least one high-profile attacker during the next transfer window. They have been deemed as the favourites to Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.
