Manchester United in pole position to sign Bundesliga winger

Manchester United are reportedly the favourites to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund with Liverpool pulling out of the race.

The England international has been tipped to head to the Premier League this summer and he has been linked with the likes of United, Chelsea and Liverpool.

The attacker is deemed to have already snubbed advances from the Blues and Football Insider claims that Jurgen Klopp's side won't be making an offer after being priced out of a move.

Dortmund are said to want an initial £88m for the former Manchester City graduate while the deal could potentially rise to more than £100m with performance-based add-ons.

The Premier League leaders are keen on signing a creative player but they appear likely to focus on Timo Werner, who could be available for around £51m from RB Leipzig.

Meanwhile, United have been in regular contact with Sancho's agent but they have yet to make an official bid to Dortmund. The ongoing coronavirus shutdown has definitely hampered the transfer proceedings.
