United in regular contact with Napoli for Koulibaly

Manchester United are reportedly maintaining an interest in Kalidou Koulibaly, who could part ways with Napoli at the end of the season.

The Senegalese has been linked with a Premier League move over the past four years but Napoli have regularly stated that the defender is not for sale.

However, it seems that their stance could change ahead of the summer transfer window and United are in regular contact with the Serie A side over the player's situation.

Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire have been the regular choices for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the heart of the defence this term but the former has been culpable to making mistakes every now and then.

Koulibaly, who is valued at around £70m, is also attracting interest from Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. He has more than three years remaining on his contract.

Meanwhile, United have also been credited with an interest in RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano whose contract expires at the end of next season. The Frenchman has a £52.5m release clause in his deal.
