Arsenal to make fresh move for French winger?
Arsenal are reportedly planning a renewed approach to sign Atletico Madrid attacker Thomas Lemar.
The Gunners have been long-term admirers of the France international and they failed to get a loan deal over the line at the beginning of the year.
According to Marca, Atletico are likely to consider the departure of Lemar at the end of the season with Diego Simeone planning to recruit a new winger.
Manchester United have been credited with an interest over the past weeks and the publication claims that the Gunners could compete with their Premier League rivals for the winger's signature.
Lemar has netted only four goals from 64 appearances for the club. Atletico bought him for around £60m in June 2018 but they may only recoup part of that sum.
Mikel Arteta's side are working on a limited budget for the summer and it will be interesting to see whether Atletico are willing to accept a season-long loan agreement with the option to buy.
