Barcelona make transfer decision on Tanguy Ndombele
Barcelona have decided against signing Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has revealed.
The Frenchman joined on a club-record deal from Lyon last summer but he has since struggled with form and fitness concerns and made only 12 starts in the Premier League.
Of late, there has been the suggestion that Ndombele could make the move to the Blaugrana in a swap deal involving Arthur but that has been dismissed by Balague.
Speaking on his Youtube channel, Balague revealed that Spurs have no interest in signing Arthur. He added that Ndombele was offered to the Spanish champions but they opted to reject the proposal.
"In terms of Arthur, let me tell you that it's not true that Spurs want him. That's not true. It's been put out there. Talking about Spurs, Ndombele has been offered to Barcelona, they said no to him. But Arthur was not wanted by Spurs," he told.
The north London side are said to be eyeing a new midfielder ahead of next season. They have recently been credited with a big-money move for West Ham United's Declan Rice.
