Serie A giants to offer Miralem Pjanic to sign Chelsea star
Juventus are reportedly willing to offer Miralem Pjanic as a makeweight to sign Chelsea midfielder Jorginho this summer.
Pjanic has been an influential player for the Bianconeri since his arrival from Roma in 2016 but he has been fancied to pursue a fresh challenge at the end of the current season.
According to Sky Sports News, Barcelona are leading the hunt to sign the Bosnia international but the Bianconeri are said to prefer his departure to Stamford Bridge in a part-exchange deal for Jorginho.
Jorginho has previously played under manager Maurizio Sarri at both Napoli and Chelsea and it is suggested that the Italy international would be open to a reunion, should the opportunity arise.
Chelsea have previously been fancied to go on a £150m spending spree during the summer but they may now have to rely on smart buys and part-exchange deals due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
They are expected to receive around £48m from Atletico Madrid for the mandatory purchase of Alvaro Morata and it is unclear whether they would spend the entire amount on new signings under the current financial climate.
