Gareth Bale makes Newcastle United transfer decision
Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has no desire to join Newcastle United when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.
The Magpies are currently on the verge of a takeover from PCP Capital Partners, who are backed by the Saudi Public Investment Fund.
As a result, they are expected to have the financial muscle to compete with Europe's elite in terms of transfers and it has been reported that Bale is on their radar.
However, according to AFP, the former Tottenham Hotspur man is understood to have no interest in joining the Magpies irrespective of the change in ownership.
Bale currently has more than two years remaining on his existing deal with Los Blancos but it is suggested that he could be permitted to leave on a free transfer this summer with the club keen to free up his significant wages.
The Wales international has struggled with multiple injury concerns over the past few years. He has bagged only two goals from 14 league outings this term.
