Arsenal are understood to hold an interest in signing AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie during the summer transfer window.

The Ivorian has been on the Gunners radar for the past few years and it appears that the north London have decided to revive their interest.

According to MilanNews24, Mikel Arteta's side are keen on landing Kessie's signature but they are reluctant to pay more than £17m for his services.

It is added that the Rossoneri could be willing to sanction the sale of Kessie, if Ralf Rangnick, who has been tipped to replace Stefano Pioli as their new manager, has different plans for the player.

Furthermore, it is indicated that the Serie A outfit may seek to sign Hungarian teenager Dominik Szoboszlai as a replacement from Rangnick's former club Leipzig.

Kessie has been with the Rossoneri since the summer of 2017 when he made the switch from Atalanta, initially on a two-year loan. He has made 123 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 13 goals in the process.
