Everton monitoring progress of Moses Simon
Nigerian international attacker Moses Simon is being monitored by Everton's head scout after catching the eye in Ligue 1 this season for French club Nantes. The versatile attacker, who is capable of playing in both midfield or in attack, is valued by his club at around 25 million euros.
It is understood that Everton could do battle with several other sides for the signature of Moses Simon, with German giants Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig both considering a move for the player who has 40 caps to his name.
The 24-year-old, who previously had spells with Belgian club Gent and Spanish side Levante, is considered one of the best young players from his country and has previously been linked with a move to England to both Tottenham and Liverpool.
However it is understood that Carlo Ancelotti, the Italian coach in charge of Everton, is a huge fan of the 5 foot 6 midfielder, and is ready to spend the vast majority of his transfer spend on signing the player.
Simon came through the Ajax Amsterdam youth system before a short spell with Slovakian side Trencin.
