Manchester United prioritise signing of Premier League midfielder
Manchester United are likely to prioritise the signing of midfielder Jack Grealish from Aston Villa, a report from Manchester Evening News claims.
The Red Devils have been linked with a number of midfielders in recent months and of late, it has been suggested that they could make an attempt to sign Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.
However, according to M.E.N, the club are likely to focus on their pre-planned targets for the summer and Grealish remains the priority signing for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Grealish has largely played on the left side of the attack for the Villains this term but he is also capable of operating in the number 10 role or in the centre of the park.
He has bagged seven goals and six assists in the Villains' comeback season to the Premier League but appears unlikely to leave the club when the current campaign concludes.
The west Midlands outfit currently value their captain at around £60m but United are hoping to land him on a cut-price deal, particularly if Dean Smith's side are relegated from the top-flight.
