Tottenham Hotspur are planning a summer move to sign Kurt Zouma from Chelsea, a report from RMC Sport claims.

The Frenchman has been an integral part of Frank Lampard's plans this term but there are suggestions that he may struggle for playing time, suppose the Blues make a new addition for the central defence this summer.

According to RMC Sport, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho has earmarked Zouma as a potential target for the summer, having previously managed the player at Chelsea more than five years ago.

The Blues are said to be open to considering offers for the France international but they won't sell him on the cheap with more than three years remaining on his contract.

Spurs are expected to lose the services of Jan Vertonghen on a free transfer at the end of the season and Mourinho is said to be eyeing a player with Premier League experience to replace the Belgian.

Zouma perfectly fits into the Portuguese's requirement with more than 130 top-flight appearances. The centre-back shares a good bond with Mourinho, who was responsible for signing him at Chelsea in 2014 when he was the head coach.
