Ben Yedder back on Man United radar

Manchester United have reportedly held talks with the agent of Wissam Ben Yedder ahead of a possible summer move for the Frenchman.

The 29-year-old was on the Red Devils' radar during the previous summer transfer window, but AS Monaco eventually signed him after triggering the £36m release clause in his Sevilla contract.

He bagged 18 goals during the recent Ligue 1 campaign to share the top-scorer accolade alongside Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe but it appears that he could still leave the Principality outfit.

United recently extended the loan spell of Odion Ighalo from Shanghai Shenhua until January 30 but they are still keen on pursuing another experienced marksman.

As per Le 10 Sport, they have opened talks with the player's representative and it is claimed that Monaco may be tempted to part ways with the forward as they seek to overcome the losses due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Still, Ben Yedder won't come on the cheap for the Red Devils and the former French champions are expected to demand a similar fee to that paid to Seville last year.
