Chelsea agree short-term deals with attacking duo
Chelsea have reportedly agreed short-term contract extensions with Pedro and Willian to keep them at the club for the rest of the season.
The duo were likely to become free-agents after June 30, but the club have now convinced them to stay put for the remainder of the campaign, The Telegraph reports.
Pedro has seen limited gametime over the course of the current season and he has been restricted to only eight starts in the Premier League under manager Frank Lampard.
He is said to have agreed on a pre-contract to join AS Roma when his contract expires and a move could be made official at some point of time in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Willian has been a regular in the starting XI for the Blues and he has bagged seven goals and six assists. Still, he has been reluctant to pen a long-term contract as the club have refused to meet his demands for a three-year deal.
He is attracting plenty of high-profile interest from Premier League clubs and it won't come as a surprise, if he makes the switch to London rivals Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur.
