Arsenal interested in Portuguese midfielder?
Arsenal have identified Danilo Pereira as a potential replacement for Matteo Guendouzi during this summer's transfer window.
Guendouzi has been a regular for the Gunners but the club are understood to be concerned over his attitude on and off the playing field.
The Frenchman is said to have recently opened talks with the likes of Barcelona and Inter through his agent, and the Gunners seem prepared to sanction his sale for around £35m.
According to ESPN, the north London side are lining up possible options to replace the Frenchman and it is claimed that they could revive their interest in Porto's Pereira.
The 28-year-old was previously on their radar at the beginning of 2018, but the club decided against making a move after he suffered back-to-back injuries which kept him out of action for around nine eight months.
Danilo is regarded as one of Porto's regulars in the centre of the park but the club are open to the possibility of selling him this summer as they aim to balance their financial books.
Pereira is presently valued in the region of £18m.
