Manchester United set asking price for Jesse Lingard
Manchester United are prepared to part ways with Jesse Lingard this summer, should any club meet their £20m asking price for his services.
The forward started the season as a regular in the number 10 position, but his gametime has significantly reduced since the mid-season arrival of Bruno Fernandes.
He is currently regarded as a squad player for the Red Devils and The Sun claims that the club are willing to sanction his departure for around £20m this summer.
Lingard's present contract expires at the end of next season but the Mancunian giants have the option of extending his stay for another 12 months if required.
They are said to have no plans of doing so at the moment and it remains to be seen whether any club is interested in meeting their price tag for the attacker.
Lingard has struggled to make any impact in the Premier League since the beginning of 2019. He has failed to contribute a goal or an assist in the top-flight during this period.
