Barcelona to sign Manchester United youngster?
Barcelona are monitoring the contract situation of Manchester United forward Angel Gomes, a report from Marca claims.
The Red Devils have been in contract talks with the teenager over the past few months, but they have yet to confirm a possible extension.
His current deal expires at the end of the June and Marca claims that the Blaugrana are keeping a close eye on the proceedings.
Chelsea have previously been deemed as the favourites to sign Gomes for a small compensation fee, but the 19-year-old could be lured to the Camp Nou.
Gomes has made only six appearances for the Red Devils this term and he is said to be frustrated with the lack of regular playing time.
He has no assurances of the same for the forthcoming campaign but United are willing to loan him out, suppose he puts pen-to-paper on an extension.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side recently qualified for the semi-final stage of the FA Cup following a 2-1 win over Norwich City on the road.
