Serie A outfit keen on signing Tottenham Hotspur defender
Serie A side Lazio could make an attempt to sign Danny Rose from Tottenham Hotspur during this summer's transfer window.
Rose fell out-of-favour under Spurs boss Jose Mourinho earlier this season and he was loaned out to Newcastle United in January.
The left-back has since been a regular for the Magpies with nine appearances and seven of those coming in the Premier League.
Steve Bruce's side are interested in signing him permanently this summer, but they could face direct competition from Simone Inzaghi's men.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Lazio are aiming to bolster their defence ahead of next term and Rose has been earmarked as a possible target.
Spurs wanted £20m for Rose's sale in January, but their asking price is likely to be halved with the defender having entered the final 12 months of his deal.
Rose will have the option to prolong his Premier League stay with the Magpies, but a move to Lazio could be a tempting prospect, given they are set to feature in next season's Champions League.
