Chelsea could reportedly loan out Fikayo Tomori to West Ham United this summer in their attempt to secure the services of Declan Rice.

Rice has been earmarked as one of the top summer targets for the Blues and manager Frank Lampard wants him to feature in a back three next term.

According to The Athletic, the west London giants are willing to offer Tomori to the Hammers on loan as they seek to land the signature of their former graduate.

Rice has been an undisputed starter for the Hammers over the past few seasons and he recently captained the side in the 3-2 win over the Blues at the London stadium.

With more than four years remaining on his contract, the Hammers don't find themselves with the need to sell and reports claim that the Blues would still have to make a bid of at least £70m to land the player's signature.

Rice has generally featured in the centre of the park for the Hammers this term. He has been linked with Manchester United in the past, but a deal has never materialised.
