Chelsea open talks to sign French attacker
Chelsea are understood to made contact with Lille regarding the possibility of signing Jonathan Ikone during the next transfer window.
The 22-year-old had a decent 2019/2020 campaign with the Ligue 1 side and he managed to register four goals and seven assists from 36 appearances.
Ikone still has three years remaining on his contract with Lille but Le 10 Sport claims that he could be tempted to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.
The Blues are believed to held talks with the French outfit and it is reported that the club would be open to sanctioning Ikone's sale for the right price.
Frank Lampard's side have already bolstered their attack with the purchase of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner from Ajax and RB Leipzig respectively.
There are eyeing another wide player to add to the ranks with the anticipated exits of Willian and Pedro at the expiry of their contracts next month.
Ikone, who started his career with Paris Saint-Germain, has also been linked with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
