Manchester City want to sign Alexis Sanchez?
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola could reportedly consider a shock attempt to sign Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United this summer.
The Chilean is currently on loan at Inter Milan where he has picked up form since the restart with two goals and seven assists from nine league appearances.
The Nerazzurri are said to be keen on keeping hold of the attacker beyond the current campaign and they are expected to open discussions with the Red Devils in the near future.
However, Chilean outlet La Cuara claims that the Cityzens could also be in the running to sign Sanchez this summer, having missed out on landing him from Arsenal in January 2018, when United outbid them.
Sanchez was initially fancied to join the Cityzens, but he made the switch to the Red Devils instead after they convinced him by offering record wages of around £400,000-a-week.
He was unable to make any meaningful impact during his first one-and-a-half seasons where he registered just five goals from 45 appearances and that paved the way for his temporary move to San Siro.
