Manchester City set to sign Valencia winger
Manchester City are on the verge of signing Ferran Torres from Valencia for an initial fee of around £24m.
The Cityzens have been in regular contact with Los Che over Torres in recent weeks and they appear close to finalising a transfer agreement.
He has been identified as the replacement for Leroy Sane, who made the move to Bayern Munich at the beginning of the month.
Los Che were initially said to demand around £40m for the player, but The Guardian claims that they will now accept a lesser fee from the Cityzens.
Still, there are a number of add-ons set to be included and the overall package could rise to £40m, if the conditions are met.
Should Torres make the move, he won't be eligible to play for the club until the beginning of the 2020/21 campaign.
Torres, who can play on either wing, bagged six goals and eight assists from 44 appearances for Los Che last season.
