Chelsea keen on signing Eredivisie goalkeeper
Chelsea are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Andre Onana from Ajax during the current transfer window.
Towards the end of last season, Kepa Arrizabalaga fell out-of-favour under Frank Lampard and the Blues are expected to recruit a new goalkeeper.
Atletico Madrid shot-stopper Jan Oblak has been linked with the Blues in recent weeks, but the club are unlikely to sign him unless they trigger the £108m release clause in his contract.
That is unlikely to happen and The Mirror claims that the Blues are instead prepared to make an approach for Onana, who is open to joining an elite Premier League side this summer.
The Cameroon international has an agreement with Ajax to head through the exit door, but interested clubs would still need to meet the £32m price tag set by the reigning Dutch champions.
Meanwhile, the Blues are also keen on pursuing a new left-back and Onana's teammate Nicolas Tagliafico has emerged as an option. The west London side have already signed Hakim Ziyech from the Dutch giants.
