Spanish midfielder agrees personal terms with Liverpool
Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara has agreed to personal terms over a four-year contract with Liverpool, a report from RMC Sport claims.
The Spaniard has already rejected a contract extension at Bayern beyond June 2021 and he is expected to be sold by the club this summer.
Jurgen Klopp's side have been regularly linked with his services and it appears that they have now reached an agreement over the contractual terms.
Alcantara has agreed the package over a four-year deal and it is claimed that he has already found a new house in Merseyside.
Still, the Reds need to finalise the transfer fee with Bayern, who are said to demand at least £27m for the former Barcelona man.
They are reluctant to meet the price at the current moment, given the midfielder could be available on a free transfer in 10 months' time.
Manchester City are one of the clubs, who are monitoring the developments. Pep Guardiola could be reunited with his former player.
