Inter Milan to swoop for N'Golo Kante?
Inter Milan are reportedly planning to step up their interest in signing N'Golo Kante from Chelsea during the current transfer window.
The Frenchman experienced a difficult 2019/2020 season where he was restricted to only 28 appearances owing to various injury concerns.
Kante still has three years remaining on his Blues deal, but there are suggestions that he could be available at the right price in the ongoing transfer window.
According to Gazzetta Italia, Inter boss Antonio Conte is considering a reunion with the Frenchman after working together for two seasons at Stamford Bridge.
The Nerazzurri are currently on the cusp of signing Sandro Tonali from Brescia and Conte sees the 2018 World Cup winner as the ideal partner in a new-look midfield next term.
Kante has previously been the subject of interest from Paris Saint-Germain and they could revive their pursuit, suppose the Blues open negotiations with the Nerazzurri.
The Blues are planning to offload a number of fringe players this summer. Tiemoue Bakayoko, Michy Batshuayi, Ross Barkley and Danny Drinkwater are among those, who are expected to leave the club.
