Napoli are open to parting ways with Kalidou Koulibaly this summer amid the reported interest from Manchester City and Manchester United.

The Serie A outfit are planning to reshuffle their backline ahead of next season and they are willing to sanction the sale of Koulibaly this summer.

The central defender was previously valued in excess of £100m and that put off interested clubs from lodging an approach for his services.

However, Calciomercato reports that they are now prepared to accept a lesser fee of around £70m for the 29-year-old, who has made 246 appearances for them.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains a huge admirer of the former Genk man and he could be tempted to pair him alongside Harry Maguire next term.

Meanwhile, the Cityzens are still on the search for an experienced leader at the back and Koulibaly could fill the void left by the departure of Vincent Kompany last summer.

Koulibaly is open to a move to the Premier League and Pep Guardiola's side are likely to be the favourites to sign him, considering they could offer the better salary package.
