Solskjaer wants three more signings after Van de Beek

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on landing three more signings after the purchase of Donny van de Beek from Ajax.

The Dutchman recently passed his medical with the Red Devils and the transfer is expected to be announced in the next 24 hours.

According to The Times, Solskjaer will demand another three players in the transfer window to cover up troublesome positions.

The Norwegian is said to be eyeing a new central defender and in addition to this, he wants a right-winger and a striker to provide competition for places.

Jadon Sancho is currently the prime target for the right-wing role, but the club are reluctant to meet the £108m price tag set by Borussia Dortmund.

Meanwhile, Monaco's Benoit Badiashile appears the prime central defensive target. They have already failed with an opening bid of £22m for his services.

The likes of Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira could be shown the exit door as the Red Devils look to gain additional funds to assist their summer spending.
