Arsenal agree deal for Real Madrid star

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Real Madrid to re-sign Dani Ceballos on loan for another season, The Guardian reports.

The Spain international made 37 appearances during his temporary stint last term and he was hugely impressive alongside Granit Xhaka in the second half of the season.

With the potential departures of Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi this summer, the Gunners have been desperate to retain the services of Ceballos and they have finally managed to do so.

According to The Guardian, the north London side have succeeded in landing Ceballos after three attempts. It is added that the midfielder was convinced to rejoin the club for another year by manager Mikel Arteta.

Aside from Ceballos, the Gunners are also expected to announce the signing of Gabriel Magalhaes. The Lille centre-back has already finalised the formalities for the transfer.

An official announcement is being held up due to the presentation video which can't be completed until the defender finishes his mandatory 14-day quarantine after arriving from France.
