Chelsea refusing to budge on midfielder's asking price
Tiemoue Bakayoko's loan move to AC Milan has been put on hold following a disagreement over the optional buy clause with Chelsea.
The Frenchman is determined to make the return to the Rossoneri this summer after having impressed on a temporary basis during the 2018/19 season.
A recent report from Calciomercato revealed that the Rossoneri could agree a season-long loan for the midfielder with the option to buy for £27m next summer.
However, the San Siro outfit are reluctant to pay more than £22.5m to make the deal permanent next summer and that has stalled the negotiations between the sides.
The Rossoneri are understood to be looking at different options to bolster their midfield department and so far, no deal has been agreed for Bakayoko with the Blues refusing to lower their price.
Bakayoko has also been linked with a number of Premier League clubs including Aston Villa, but the Frenchman has a firm desire to make the return to the Rossoneri.
