Man United consider fresh move for Perisic

Manchester United are considering a fresh approach to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan, a report from Manchester Evening News claims.

The Croatian was heavily linked with the Red Devils when Jose Mourinho was their manager in 2018, but a deal failed to materialise.

According to M.E.N, Bayern Munich are keen on signing the 31-year-old on a permanent basis after he impressed on loan last season with eight goals and 10 assists from 35 outings.

They have offered a fee of around £9m for his services, but the Nerazzurri are adamant that they won't sanction the move, unless their £13.5m asking price is met in full.

United are currently monitoring the situation and it is reported that they could consider Perisic as a stop-gap option, suppose they fail in their pursuit of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

The Red Devils have identified Sancho as the main target to bolster their wide attacking options, but they have failed to find an agreement with Dortmund due to the hefty £108m valuation.
