Juventus and Atletico Madrid have explored the possibility of signing Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette this summer.

The Frenchman has been with the Gunners for the past three years where he has netted 48 goals from 127 appearances across all competitions.

According to ESPN, Lacazette may consider an exit from the Gunners this summer unless he receives assurances of a regular starting role.

It is added that both Juventus and Atleti are keeping tabs on his situation, but neither of them are likely to meet the Gunners' £40m price tag.

Lacazette had a disappointing third season with the Gunners and he was able to contribute only 12 goals across all competitions.

Meanwhile, he was regularly swapped with Eddie Nketiah for the starting spot earlier this year and that appears to have unsettled him.

Lacazette's current contract with the Gunners expires in the summer of 2022 and talks over an extension have stalled at the moment.

Lyon recently made an attempt to re-sign Lacazette on a season-long loan, but their proposal was knocked back by the north London giants.
