Arsenal close to sanctioning deal for defender
Arsenal are reportedly close to sanctioning the sale of Sead Kolasinac to Bayer Leverkusen.
The Bosnia international has struggled for regular gametime this year and he is currently behind the likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Bukayo Saka in the pecking order for the left wing-back role.
Hence, he has been fancied to head through the exit door and reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the Gunners are on the cusp of finalising a deal with Leverkusen.
The Bundesliga outfit are prepared to pay £9m upfront for Kolasinac and it is reported that the move could be finalised in the next 24 hours with the Gunners in need of funds for their own transfer business.
The north London side are aiming to land the services of Houssem Aouar from Lyon before the transfer deadline next week. They recently failed with a £35m bid and are likely to come up with a renewed offer for the French playmaker.
