De Bruyne to miss Arsenal clash?

Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne could be unavailable for the club's Premier League clash against Arsenal this weekend.

The midfielder was substituted after just 15 minutes of Belgium's Nations League game against England with a muscle problem.

Roberto Martinez initially downplayed the concern, but De Bruyne has since been excluded from the squad to face Iceland.

According to The Mirror, the 29-year-old is likely to miss the upcoming game for the Cityzens against the Gunners due to the injury.

The setback is only a minor concern, but it is reported that Pep Guardiola may not want to take any risks with the playmaker.

De Bruyne has been the Cityzens' leading performer over the past 18 months and he bagged a stunning 20 goals and 13 goals in the league last term.

He has fared well against the Gunners with five goals and two assists from 10 league meetings, but may not feature against them on Saturday.

It is reported that he could potentially return for the Champions League group stage opener against Porto on October 21.
