Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus in the race to sign Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

The 17-year-old had a superb 2019/2020 season for Rennes and that contributed to the club qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in their history.

Camavinga was heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu earlier this summer, but Los Blancos decided against making an offer after learning of the £75m asking price.

Still, they are keeping tabs on his progress and AS claims that they could face competition from Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus in the pursuit of his services next summer.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is understood to be eyeing a new defensive midfielder and believes Camavinga could be the perfect fit for the north London side in the long-run.

Camavinga has bagged one goal and one assist for Rennes this term. He has already earned three caps with the France senior squad and scored during the 7-1 friendly win over Ukraine earlier this month.
