Everton to battle Spurs for Serie A striker
Everton could reportedly battle it out with Tottenham Hotspur to sign Arkadiusz Milik during the January transfer window.
The Merseyside outfit have made an impressive start to the current season and they are presently top of the table with a better goal difference.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has stood out upfront with 10 goals already across all competitions, but Carlo Ancelotti is still said to be eyeing a new striker.
Milik was heavily linked with a move to Spurs during the summer, but they refused to meet Napoli's price tag of around £25m.
The Pole has since been sidelined from first-team duties at Napoli and he may be sold in January, considering his contract expires in June 2021.
According to Calciomercato, Milik could be available for just £6.4m this winter and both Toffees and Spurs could compete for his services.
Spurs completed the loan signing of Carlos Vinicius from Benfica on deadline day to add the much-needed cover for Harry Kane.
They have still continued to be linked with Milik, but the Toffees will be hoping to lure him with the assurance of more game time.
