'A lot of quality': Frank Lampard praises Chelsea attacker after Krasnodar win
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has heaped praise on Hakim Ziyech following his impressive showing against Krasnodar in the Champions League.
The Morocco international was the Blues' first signing of the summer, but he had to wait until mid-October to make his debut after suffering a knee injury during pre-season.
Ziyech made his maiden start in the European meeting at Krasnodar and he capped the performance by scoring his first-ever goal for the west London giants.
Speaking after the game, Lampard was delighted for the former Ajax man, who will finding his feet after an injury setback at the beginning of the season.
"Hakim Ziyech has worked really hard to be fit, and I was very excited to get his quality into the team. He brought a lot of quality and calmness when he was on the pitch, and got a well-deserved goal," He told.
Chelsea are scheduled to face Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. Ziyech stands the chance of making his maiden league start for the Blues.
