Manchester United are expected to be without four senior players when they face Istanbul Basaksehir on the road in the Champions League.

The Red Devils have picked up six points from the opening two group stage games and they will be in the driving seat to reach the round of 16, if they beat Basaksehir on Wednesday night.

Ahead of the game, United have provided an update on the travelling squad. Jesse Lingard was involved in training after his recent return from injury, but he has not been deemed fit enough to travel.

Elsewhere, Eric Bailly and Phil Jones are recovering from knee injuries and they have been ruled out for the game. Alex Telles, on the other hand, has yet to bring up a negative result for the coronavirus.

United's form has been inconsistent this term and they have picked up just one point from the previous two league games despite excelling in Europe with victories over Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig.
