Four Manchester United players sidelined for Saints clash

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that at least four players won't be available for the Premier League trip to Southampton.

The trio of Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw are nursing injuries and none of them are expected to feature against the Saints.

Elsewhere, Jesse Lingard has just returned following a period of isolation after coming into contact with someone, who contracted the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford, Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have recovered from minor injuries and were in training on Friday morning.

The trio are likely to make the trip to the South Coast for tomorrow's league clash, provided they pass the fitness tests conducted.

United are aiming to win three league games on the trot for the first time since the backend of the previous campaign.

They won't have an easy challenge on their hands, given they have won just one of the previous five matches against the Saints.
