Arsenal prepared to sell Nicolas Pepe?
Arsenal could reportedly consider the sale of Nicolas Pepe in the upcoming transfer window, suppose he continues to struggle in the Premier League.
Pepe has lacked the consistency since his club-record move to the club last year and he was recently sent off for violent conduct at Leeds United.
According to The Star, the Gunners hierarchy are willing to cut their losses on the attacker in January in case he struggles to prove himself in the league.
Pepe has given a good account of himself in training, but the board believe it was poor business to fork out £72m for his services from Lille.
Mikel Arteta's side will still look for more than £50m to sanction his departure and it is uncertain any club will come forward with an offer.
Pepe is suspended for the next three league games and he will only return to domestic action against Southampton in mid-December.
He is, however, eligible to play in the Europa League and should feature in the remaining group stage matches for the Gunners.
