Manchester United join Arsenal in the race to sign Inter star
Manchester United could reportedly go head-to-head with Arsenal in the race to sign Christian Eriksen during the January transfer window.
The Dane was heavily linked with the Red Devils last winter, but he eventually made the switch to Inter Milan from Tottenham Hotspur.
He has since endured a tough time in the Serie A where he has struggled for regular starts and could leave the Nerazzurri as early as next month.
According to The Sun, the Red Devils are aiming to add more creativity in their attack and may revive their pursuit of Eriksen.
The midfielder is currently valued at around £27m and United stand in an advantageous position to land his signature ahead of the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta's side are unlikely to afford the price tag next month and reports have claimed that they could sign him on a swap deal.
Granit Xhaka, who was sent off during the 1-0 defeat to Burnley, has been mentioned as a potential player, who could be exchanged for Eriksen.
