Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to sign Declan Rice?
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge admirer of West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice, a report from Manchester Evening News claims.
The England international has established himself as one of the country's best defensive midfielders and he was regularly linked with Chelsea during last summer's transfer window.
The Blues could not afford him after spending more than £220m on new signings, but it has been claimed that they could return for his services at some point of time next year.
Amidst this, it is revealed that Solskjaer is an admirer of the holding midfielder and he may look to prise him away from the Hammers for whom he has already made 126 appearances.
Rice still has more than three years remaining on his contract with the option for another 12 months. Hence, the Hammers are unlikely to sell him on the cheap and it is rumoured that they want at least £80m.
The 21-year-old has not missed a single minute of Premier League action since the beginning of last season. His performances have earned him the captain's armband on a regular basis.
